UX + visual language

Light canvas, one indigo action, and paths short enough that photo → listing → channel does not feel like five dashboards. ClayUI is the product surface for multi-platform sellers.

DESIGN UX CLAYUI VISUAL_LANGUAGE

Target audience

Solo and small-shop sellers on more than one marketplace — phone photos, no ops team, not ready for marketplace developer APIs or advanced multi-channel tools. They retype listings today. The UI makes multi-channel feel like one short flow, not three admin consoles and not an integrator dashboard.

Why this setup

Light canvas, clear hierarchy, one action indigo. Primary work stays in a short chain — target at most a handful of committed clicks from “upload” to “ready to publish” — so the seller always knows the next safe step. Soft clay surfaces and rounded cards lower visual stress; color is for commitment, not decoration on every chip.

Canvas is the page field; panel is the working card. Ink carries titles and body; muted is secondary status and helper text. Action indigo is reserved for primary CTAs and focus — publish, generate, confirm — not every secondary control.

Goals

  • Cut cognitive load with linear steps a seller can finish between packing orders.
  • Clean layout that makes workflows obvious without a training deck.
  • One product language across host app and browser-execution surfaces via @listia/ui.
  • Prefer the fewest steps that still keep a human gate before irreversible publish.

Personas / workflow

Solo seller

Phone photos, multi-channel, zero ops team. Needs photo → structured listing in one pass.

Multi-channel reseller

Same SKU on eBay, Amazon, Etsy. Needs channel overrides without retyping the base product.

Small shop operator

A few people, shared catalog. Needs clear status, agent visibility, and a safe publish gate.

Product maturity signal

ClayUI choices serve short seller paths and multi-channel reality — soft hierarchy for long sessions, one action color for commitment, human confirm before the adapter touches a live marketplace UI.
