Brand steps
Sequence used to make Amerimatter feel real in portfolio work: mission and tone, locked design system, catalog journey, craft demos, then a commerce stack shape on SnapNGo.
01 · Mission and tone
Industrial, US manufacturing context. Premium and transactional: clarity, order, catalog- ready packaging. Content speaks to buyers and operators who need stock and next steps.
02 · Design system first
Lock paper / ink / navy / slate / vermilion. Stratified type (display caps + serif body). Flat hard borders. Vermilion only for critical CTAs. Document DO/DON’T so later surfaces do not drift into generic SaaS UI.
03 · Catalog arc
Home → catalog → product plate → guides. SKUs, finish, size, and price (or quote) read as listings. Product plate carries 3D stock preview where it helps buyers decide.
04 · Craft demos
Forge / cutter and mini CNC experiments prove craft and planning (kerf, nest, cut) so the brand is more than static photography. Demos stay demo-grade; brand system still owns the visual rules.
05 · Commerce-shaped stack
Scaffold with SnapNGo. Modules for catalog, inventory, orders, and commerce payment so the brand journey can end in a real cart and checkout when product work advances. Design leads; stack supports order and billing for goods.
06 · Portfolio packaging
Hub, design post, architecture note, process note, surface logs. Packages stay independent so the brand story can be reviewed without claiming a full market launch.
Brand life is a sequence: system → catalog proof → craft proof → commerce spine. Skipping design lock produces generic industrial SaaS; skipping commerce shape leaves the catalog with nowhere to transact.
